Bill Riddick

A Riddick in the wrong Think Tank: this character belongs to an entirely different universe.

Bill Riddick is not a character in the Psychonauts universe. He is the titular protagonist of the separate science-fiction film and game franchise *The Chronicles of Riddick* (created by David Twohy, 2004–2013), a gritty space-pirate saga with no narrative, thematic, or production overlap with Double Fine Productions' Psychonauts series. No entry for him exists in any official or fan Psychonauts compendium.

Lore & Background

The Psychonauts canon—spanning the 2005 original, the 2021 sequel, and the 2024 *Psychonauts: The Indirectly Telling Sequel*—populates the Think Tank with a fixed cast of psychic children, their mentors, the Pinhead staff, and the Abomination faction. Bill Riddick, a bioluminescent space-fugitive from a dark sci-fi franchise, appears nowhere in that world. His name, design, and story are governed by a separate creative team and a separate fictional setting (the planet Veldt, the ship *The Riddick*, etc.).

Conflating the two would be like writing a wiki entry for a Star Wars villain inside a Pokémon Pokédex. The characters, tone, art style, and narrative logic are wholly distinct. Any 'Psychonaut' entry for Riddick would be pure fabrication and would misrepresent both franchises.

In Their Own Story

Raz tucks a crumpled comic book under his arm and wanders the Think Tank's sun-drenched corridors, the Pinheads humming their little songs overhead. He stops at the library, pulls a shelf of reference manuals, and flips through them with a frown. 'Nope,' he mutters, tapping the spine of a glossy sci-fi novel. 'Not one of us. Not even close.' He shoves it back, grins at the empty shelf where a Riddick entry *should* be, and jogs off toward the pool, leaving the dust to settle on a name that belongs to another sky entirely.

Reader's Guide

Role: N/A — Bill Riddick is not a Psychonaut, Abomination, NPC, or boss in either Psychonauts title. First appearance in Psychonauts: none. Personality hook: N/A.

Because the character does not exist in this canon, there is no psychic ability, no walkable mind, no relationship tree, and no in-game dialogue to catalogue. If you encountered his name in a Psychonauts context, you are likely looking at a crossover fan-fiction, a meme, or a mix-up with the *Riddick* video game (2012, developed by Starbreeze). For genuine Psychonauts character guides, the Think Tank's own roster—Raz, Max, Lili, Gunther, Muriel, Coach, Whispering Rock, Clyde, Bobby, Dandy G. Rose, Fink, TenPin, Gretchin, and the Abomination leadership—is where the real stories live.
